Kweku Darlington says, "Okyeame Kwame is like a father and a mentor to me."

In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast's Kastle FM, Kwaku Darlington discussed his friendship with the experienced, award-winning artist and said that Okyeame Kwame has served as a mentor to him so that he can steer clear of blunders.

Emmanuel Kweku Owusu Darlington, a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and producer, has compared Okyeame Kwame, a prominent rapper and hip-hop artist, like a father.

The 'Sika Aba Fie' hitmaker, who is based in Kumasi, has talked about his recollections of Okyeame Kwame and how he supported him in his musical endeavors.

When we get the chance to get together, it's not just about music but a lot of other things because Okyeame Kwame is more like a brother, a father, and a mentor to me," he said.

"We write songs together and have wholesome conversations among ourselves, but aside from that, we talk about a lot of other things that are completely unrelated to making music."

"Okyeame Kwame is someone that I look up to," he continued, "because of the kind of guidance he gives to me regarding music as well as in general life because of where he has lived his life up to.

As someone who is now rising, he said, "His advice is vital to me so that I would be able to know how to advance my steps to make mistakes which have made me aware of certain things."

He said to Amansan Krakye, "It was good to meet Okyeame Kwame. As a young person like me, it's crucial to have individuals like this mentoring you, and if only you listen you will move very far.
