Ghana probes TikToker's death threat to patients

According to Ghana's Nursing and Midwifery Council, a TikTok user is under investigation after allegedly threatening to kill patients in a video posted on the platform.

She made the threat in the video while wearing a nursing school outfit, the council said, adding that she would "murder any customer who seeks her assistance as a nurse because she was compelled to pursue nursing against her choice."

The statement claimed that investigations have "begun actively to identify the said student and apply the relevant punishments."

The document asked the public to treat the video with the "contempt it deserves" and claimed that the student's comments were made out of "ignorance" regarding the nursing profession.

It also warned nursing students against using uniforms for unapproved activities.
