Ghana National Association Of Teachers Threaten Another Strike Action

The Ghana National Association of Teachers says it stands by the June 30th, 2022 deadline for the payment of the conditions of the cause of living allowance also known as COLA, or risk having them go on strike

They are demanding 20%COLA because of the current economic conditions and the worsening plight of teachers.

Speaking on the demands of an investment forum by GNAT, the national president of the Association, Rev. Isaac Owusu said they are still standing by their demands and the deadline they have given to go on strike if the government fails to meet their demands urging the minister of education to take note.
