Galamsey pit kills two miners at Manso Muano
Police have recovered the bodies and placed them for preservation at St. Martin's Hospital morgue in Agroyesum.

In the Ashanti region's Amansie South District near Manso Murano, two people have perished in a galamsey pit.
The incident happened on July 11, 2022, when the victims entered the abandoned galamsey pit to search for gold.
Abena Agyeiwah, one of the victims, drowned while washing the gold she had dug, according to Assembly Member for the area Acheampong Duku George, who confirmed the occurrence.
He said that the second victim, identified only as "Taller," tried to save the first victim but drowned in the process.
Police have recovered the bodies and placed them for preservation at St. Martin's Hospital morgue in Agroyesum.
The event is the subject of an inquiry by the Manso Adubea police.
