Ga East NADMO to inspect flood-prone areas ahead of rainy season.

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has said adequate measures are being implemented to forestall any flooding catastrophe during the rainy season.

The Ga East NADMO Director, Mr. Seth Kissi said while embarking on public education and sensitization programs, his outfit will soon be inspecting flood-prone areas in the Municipality and other communities to reduce the impact of floods when the rains strike.

In a press briefing this morning, the NADMO Director added that some major drains have been dredged and identified as safer places for stranded people.

Mr. Seth Kissi called on people living around the flood-prone areas to move to safer places.
