Friday Roundup: Check out All the new releases this week

With no less than 3 tracks released this Friday, new songs and music videos have littered the whole week as most artistes are starting to come out of their quarantine slumber.

The big guns, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy have all been relatively silent in times of mass production of tracks. Only Sarkodie deigned to release the track "Gimme Way" in response to the Doctor UN scandal.

See the tracks (and music videos) of the newly released ( and the ones you might have missed) tracks here.

1. Makoma: Kofi Mole FT Sarkodie, Bosom P-Yung

Edward Kofi Agyamang Amoah

Ghanaian rapper, Kofi Mole, has teamed up with Sarkodie and Bosom P-Yung to produce a hit track, Makoma off his soon to be released EP titled 'Aposor Love II'.

“Making music is the only way I’m able to talk about things or situations I’ve been dealing with or struggling to get over,” the musician said about the inspiration of the record. “On this song, I talked generally about how people get affected in the absence of someone they love or cherish in their hearts a situation I can personally relate to,” he said

“It’s absolutely a great feeling working with him and the verse he put on ‘Makoma’ is one of my favourite Sarkodie verses,”

“From his lyrics, I can tell he’s ever been heartbroken, or he’s ever been in a situation closer to that. I like his unique vocal style and his choice of words too, making him appropriate for ‘Makoma’.he stated.

2. Yaayi: Kanea

Kanea

Shatta Wale's goddaughter Kanea, has just dropped a top-notch music video for her not so new track 'Yaayi'.

Kanea made her debut single with the track "Shatta Wale" which got her an endorsement from the African Dancehall King himself.

4. Mensa Da: Akan FT Efya

Akan also finally dropped the visuals to his track Mensa Da after a while.

It’s the perfect song to celebrate a breakup and Akan confirms that by telling Kuulpeeps.com that, “The underlying message in the song is about staying hopeful and strong. There is always more ahead. If a move doesn’t go well, I would rather move on than cry over spilt milk”
