France and China reaffirm stance over nuclear arms use in Ukraine

According to a Reuters story, French President Emmanuel Macron and Chinese President Xi Jinping have reiterated their commitment to forbidding the use of nuclear weapons in the conflict in Ukraine.

The two met on Tuesday outside of the summit and talked about a variety of topics, including how to finance developing economies, highlighting Zambia as a "very important instance."

According to Xi, relations between China and France have continued to "develop positively," and bilateral cooperation has made "progress," according to the Chinese state news agency Xinhua.
