The Sefwi Juaboso District office of the Forestry Commission (FC) has destroyed what the Commission described as illegal farms in the Krokosue forest reserve.

Mr Mark Aiddo Gyamfi said measures are being put in place to restrict access into the various reserves to avoid the menace of illegal farming, logging and their related negative impacts on the affected reserves.
For his part, the Western North Regional Forestry Commission Manager, Mr. Stephen Asamoah Duah appealed to all stakeholders in the region to join the Commission in the fight against all forms of illegal activities in all forest reserves in his jurisdiction in particular and the country as a whole.
