Update Family of 16 - year - old girls killed at Asrifikurom demand justice.

It was a tough moment for Family, teachers, students, and loved ones saying goodbye to Mawusi on January 25, 2022, at Asrifikurom, a community in the Adansi Asokwa District of the Ashanti region.

Soireenews in an interview with Chares Yaya father of the deceased stressed that the family's demand is a plea to the police to bring the perpetrators into the book.
 

He said, a suspect was arrested in connection with the murder of his daughter but information gathered indicates that he has been released.

We suspected a brother to the deceased who is known as Kwabena when the incident occurred, the police came to pick him up but we are told he has been released without our knowledge the father added.

Some colleagues of Augustina who spoke to soireenews off camera said, Tagbo's calmness and submissive was beyond measures.

They added that if there would be a colleague who the student will miss forever it would be no other than Augustina Mawusi Tagbo.

However, residents at Asrifikurom a farming community, are in a state of shock after the incident happened. We are forced to visit our farm in pairs due to what happened to Tagbo some residents said.

They are therefore pleading with the security service to enhance security to curb foreseen occurrences.

Background: 

The deceased, Augustina Tagbor,  had gone to the farm to get foodstuffs when she was murdered. The incident happened on Monday afternoon April 26, when the deceased returned from school.

Aunty of the deceased, according to reports, waited for Mawusi but she took too long to return so she decided to go in search of her on the farm.

Upon reaching the farm, she discovered Tagbo's lifeless body lying in a pool of blood.

After some careful examination of her body, it was discovered that some parts were missing with sperms also found in between her private part.

Mawusi‘s hands, fingers, parts of her thighs, and other parts were cut with blood oozing from many parts of her body.
