Exhaustion and fatigue force Forqzy Beatz to end World Record Attempt

Manasseh T. Nartey, a Tema Community 1 resident and skilled music producer and sound engineer, persevered despite an early setback that disrupted his Rec-A-Thon quest to record 200 artists in 100 hours or less.

Exhaustion and fatigue force Forqzy Beatz to end World Record Attempt

Nartey, better known by his stage as Forqzy Beatz, attempted to complete 100 hours, but only completed 75 before giving up from tiredness.

Rain stopped him from setting up for his first attempt, which had began on Thursday, March 21, 2024, but he persisted.

The original start date was disrupted on Friday, March 22, 2024, by a downpour at morning. The crew promptly reorganized, revised their plan, addressed any logistical issues, and prepared to try again that evening.

Instead of giving up, he used the power of his inner strength and desire to attain his greatest objective to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Recording Marathon with Multiple Artistes.

With help from his group and endorsements from both underground and well-known musicians, including Keche Global, Forqzy Beatz persisted and, by the 75th hour, 108 artists had taken turns being recorded and produced by him.

This exceeds the current record of forty hours.

But on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, the group made the decision to call it quits because of what they described as fatigue.

The endeavor's producers stated, "The physical and mental toll of the marathon had taken its toll, leading to the unanimous agreement to conclude the attempt at the 75th hour mark."

His team was hopeful that the endeavor will encourage other musicians to show off their skills in spite of whatever challenges they may encounter.
