E.T Mensah Serves Mother Ghana And NDC Diligently–Ade Coker Pays Glowing Tribute To The Late Council Of State Member
FORMER GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Honourable Joseph Adey Coker, has paid tribute to the late Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency on the ticket of the NDC, Honourable Enoch Teye Mensah at his burial service held in the State House in Accra on Friday January 5, 2024.

According to Honourable Coker who doubles as the Chairman of the Funeral Planning Committee of the late E.T Mensah, the late member of the Council of State was really committed to the development of Ghana and NDC.
Speaking at the funeral, Honourable Coker commiserated with the family and stakeholders of the political industry for the loss of their illustrious son.

He described the late ET Mensah as icon, statesman, man of wisdom, achiever, motivator, above all a man of many talents. 
"The person am referring all this to is the man Enoch Teye Mensah to wit E.T.
"This name resonates a around the country and beyond. You hear this name with trepidation or admiration.
"I write this tribute as a brother, a friend and 
above a as a person I have known for over 
thirty years--a considerable part of my adult life," he noted in his tribute to the late.

According to him, ET as we a call him first came into my life when he told me he wanted me to join the NDC because he has been told of my prowess in politics and football. 
Honourable Coker indicated that the late ET Mensah wanted some of us to come help the 
cause of the NDC.
He asserted that his request was  was in 1994 when he was the Minster of Youth and Sports 
and therefore, tried his best to get the Men 
in Suit as we on the GFA were called to 
help charter the cause of the Great NDC. 
Honourable Coker indicated that this was the beginning of a long journey of friendship, adding that the E.T Mensah served mother Ghana and the NDC with a his might as the National Anthem demands of us. 

He noted that the journey of ET has of course had its ups and downs but his dedication to a cause is unmatched, saying that As Minister of State,  as a parliamentarian and as a party activist he performed this par excellence.
He indicated that "Today we mourn a great man, a statesman and an icon who has touched many lives and left good footprints in the sands of time. 

He asserted that "Many are called but few are chosen. I will say ET is one of the few 
"As he journeys on let us who are here now and mourning him remember to emulate his works and strive to continue to cherish his memory and live life to be a memory so that those who come after will remember our footprints on the sands of time. 

"A great tree has fallen but I believe the fallen tree will give us seeds which we generate into acorn further enhance the forward match of this country.This l am sure ET will want to see wherever the good Lord has placed him," he stressed.
He added that "He was an Evangelist and a Doctor of Theology and I am sure his Christian life will endure hm to the bosom of the Lord.
"A friend, a brother, an icon and a statesman! 
You were a great citizen! You have run a race and you have won the race," he expressed sorrow.
