Eastern Region : Suhum: MCE Handed Over four(4) Projects and Break Ground for the Construction Of CHPS Compound.

The MCE of Suhum Municipality in the Eastern Region, Honorable Margaret Darko Darkwa together with her Assembly Members has commissioned a four (4) separate borehole projects in four(4) communities and also break grounds for the construction of a Health facility on Tuesday 8th February, 2022.

The communities that will benefit from the borehole projects are Fianko, Kwao Nartey, Amoakrom and Yesu Gbami who for some time past suffered water crisis in these areas.

A short ceremony was conducted at each community to hand over the borehole for use. 

The Municipal Chief Executive in her speech seized the opportunity to outline some of the massive infrastructural projects under her tenure and assured the communities her readiness to do more for the people and encouraged them to practice maintenance culture to safeguard the project.

The sod cutting of the Construction of the health facility for the people of Krobomu also took place after the handing over of the borehole projects. 
On the E-Lavy discourse, Hon. Darkwa took the opportunity to educate the public on the E-levy which is pending before Parliament for approval and call for the need of Ghanaians to support the introduction of the E-lavy for the growth of Ghana's economy. 

The Cheif and Elders in the beneficiary communities expressed their gratitude and excitement to the MCE for such a sterling performance under her tenure.
