Ghanaian US-based nurse Andrea Owusu well known as Efia Odo has spoken against the mandatory covid-19 vaccinations instituted in Ghana. She states that malaria is still killing many in Ghana yet we disregard it to focus on forcing people to take the vaccines.

The fixthecountry ambassador took to her Twitter page to express her dislike over how government is making vaccinations mandatory.

According to her, the disease malaria has killed more people than covid, and almost 20,000 people die from malaria each year, but the government is forcing us to take a vaccine which should be taking at a person's discretion.

She also added that she is stuck in Ghana because she has refused to take any unapproved vaccine since the vaccination card is demanded before one moves out of the country. She informs her supporters that she will not take the vaccine.

She wrote, “Malaria has killed more people than COVID 19 (approximately 20,000 people yearly) but they’re mandating us to take a vaccine. Taking a vaccine should be a personal choice and not a mandatory decision. Guess I’m stuck in Ghana cuz I’m not taking any disapproved vaccine.”

Vaccinating everyone is one of the measures being taken to combat the spread of the covid-19 virus, and the Ghana government has made it a mandatory decision, as you will be unable to access certain places and services if you are not vaccinated by next year.
