To help collect much-needed finances, the products have been donated to the Framlingham, Suffolk, shop of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), where the singer was raised.

On the charity's eBay page, many of the things will be up for auction. Bidding will start later this week.

The director of communications and fundraising for EACH, Kevin Clements, stated: "It's an extraordinary gesture."

The donation included a range of clothing items, Ipswich Town memorabilia, belts, backpacks, and hats in addition to socks and boxers.

An announcement from the charity stated, "Garments will not be washed or ironed - they will be sold as received," and it was revealed that Sheeran had worn around half of the underwear.

A signed letter of authenticity will also be included with every item that is sold.

"He has fans all over the world and these donations will undoubtedly cause a stir," said Clements.

"It's going to be exciting and fascinating to see how things pan out."

This year, EACH will unveil 186 products in three auctions, which will take place on November 16, November 26, and December 3.

Twenty of the remaining 239 will be held back for the launch of new EACH shops, while the remaining 239 will be listed in a second sale early in 2019.

Mr. Clements stated: "His generosity will raise thousands of pounds for our wonderful charity." The starting price for each item is £9.99.

The organization provides assistance and care to families in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex for children with critical illnesses.

"We acknowledge our good fortune. Mr. Clements went on, "It's priceless and helps spread the word about the essential care we provide to local kids and families.

In 2014, Sheeran gave his old clothes to the charity, raising £7,500 in the same year he signed on as an ambassador.
