East Legon Land Brouhaha: Top Kings Bosses Exonerated!

Scores of workers the Chief of Kutunse Traditional Area in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II claimed to have paid huge sums of monies to erect pillars and do other works on 5-acred at Topkings Village in East Legon he claimed to have bought for his friends living in the outside the country have spoken to justify the matter.
Setting the records straight on the matter. the livid workers led by Mr. Collins Mensah, stated that the chief of Kutunse has hired their services through a building construction formal, one Alex to erect pillars on the land at the Topkings Village in East Legon but after they have done the work, the Kutunse Chief has refused to pay them the money charged.
Mr Mensah reaffirmed that it was not that Nii Ayikumah Teikuba Il has paid GH¢ 2000 to them to work on the land, explaining that they had since December 2021 not being paid for the construction of the pillars on the land.
Mr Mensah told journalists that anytime they asked their money from Mr Alex, he responded that Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II told him that he would bring the people that he bought the land for to pay "us our money for the work done."
"I personally know Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II so anytime he comes to the area, l confronted him to pay our money, but he always made several excuses to me. So we are shocked to hear that Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II is now going rounds using local, traditional and social media platforms to be saying that he paid an amount of GH¢2,000 to us to erect pillars on the said land before the Managing Director (MD) Topkings Enterprise Limited, Dr Benjamin Kwame Dannso Project Sites Manager of Topkings Enterprise Limited, Mr Kweku Boakye had taken from him.
'...I want to state that Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II is lying to the general public and the public should disregard his allegations leveled against Dr Dannso and Mr Boakye," Mr Mensah told the journalists.
He called on Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II to render unqualified apology to Dr Danso and Mr Boakye for wrong tarnishing their reputation.
Mr Mensah reiterated that there are records that Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II has not purchased any land from the Topkings Village Project Site in East Legon and the general public should disregard his claims of buying the land for his friends in that area.
In fact Dr Danso and Boakye since we know them, they are men of intergrty, trust and transparent who are doing everything in the connection of selling the lands belonging to the company to the clients without any confrontation by anyone since the time that the two personalities had joined the company.
"... so we are telling Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II to leave them alone because they are innocent of the allegations he is levelling against them," Mr Mensah reaffirmed.
The current dirty plot hatched by Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II to use social and local media platforms to attack the integrity and reputation of Dr.Danso has backfired.
Information available to this new outlet indicates that Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II rather wanted to convince Dr. Danso and Manager in-charge of project sites of Topkings Enterprise Limited, Mr Kweku Boakye to fraudulently buy land for his friends in Topkings Village Project Site in East Legon in Accra.
The investigations have showed that when the deal was not successful, Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II has resulted of using the media to attack the integrity of Dr. Danso and Mr. Boakye to create impression that the two prominent personalities have supported their company to take his land from him at East Legon.
However there are records that Nii Ayikumah Teikuba II has not purchased any land from the Topkings Village Project Site in East Legon and the general public should disregard his claims of buying the land for his friends in that area.
