A bus reportedly ran off a bridge and into a river in central Kenya, killing at least 24 people and injuring many more.
On Sunday night, the accident occurred as the car was traveling from the town of Meru to the seaside city of Mombasa.
According to police, preliminary findings indicate that the brakes may have failed.
The death toll is expected to grow even though a search and rescue effort is already underway.
