District Assembly Elections: NDC Wins 25 Electoral Seats Out Of 30 Electoral Areas In Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency
The NDC has won the majority of the electoral area seats in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency, stating that the party has won 25 in total to to regain its strength at the local level.

ASSEMBLY MEMBERS aspirants who are members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency of the Savannah Region have won massively in the 2023 District Assembly level election which was held on Tuesday 19, 2023.
The NDC has won the majority of the electoral area seats in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency,
stating that the party has won 25 in total to to regain its strength at the local level.
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has won 5 electoral area seats, the records which have attested to the fact that the NDC is still a political party which has dominated in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency which is being represented in parliament by Honourable John Abdulai Jinapor.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Honourable John Abdulai Jinapor disclosed this in a press statement copied to the Soireenews. com in Accra on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
“So, in all, we have won 25 electoral area seats in the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency and this is a major victory because of our hard works. However party was able to win 25 seats out of the 30 electoral area seats available," he noted.
He noted that their efforts to capture majority of electoral area seats in the area would go a long way to make the communities to have a fair share of developmental projects being executed by the District Assembly.
He stressed that the massive winning of the seats in the just ended district assembly election of the assembly members who are members of the NDC has given way for the journey to 2024 victory for the great NDC and flagbearer of the NDC, former President John Darmani Mahams (JDM).
