Ruben Dias has signed a six-year contract with Manchester City at the Etihad, the Premier League club has confirmed.

The Citizens and Sevilla came to a 65m agreement last Sunday after Leicester 5-2 humiliation of Man City in the Premier League.

Joao Cancelo cost $71.5 million from Juventus August 2019, Danilo, $33 million from Real Madrid July 2017, John Stones joined from Everton for $61 million in August 2016, Aymeric Laporte was also priced for $72 million, transferred from Athletic in July 2018.

Dias is the third signing for the Spaniard in the transfer window following the arrival of Nathan Ake from Bournemouth and Ferran Torres, formerly of Valencia.

His six-year agreement will keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.

Dias made 49 appearances last season for Benfica and scored three goals as he was named in the Primeira Liga Team of the Season.
