Covid-19: Ghana’s Cases Jump to 5,127

Ghana’s case count of the Covid-19 disease has increased by 427 bringing the country’s total tally to 5,127.

This was disclosed by the Director of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Aboagye at briefing on Tuesday, 12 May 2020.

He revealed that 307 of the new cases recorded are from the Ashanti Region, out of which 272 are from Obuasi.

He mentioned that there have not been any new recoveries.

However, 130 people are awaiting their second test results which would determine whether they are virus-free or not.

Also, the coronavirus related deaths still stand at 22.
