Coronavirus: NPP's Mac Manu and Carlos Ahenkorah in ICU after contracting Disease

The New Patriotic Party’s campaign manager for the upcoming general elections, Peter Mac Manu has reportedly been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after contracting the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah has also been admitted into the same ICU after testing positive for the virulent disease.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports from Joyonline have it that,  there are two other Deputy Ministers who have tested positive for the virus are at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) receiving treatment.

This follows the death of the former General Secretary of the NPP Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly referred to as Sir John yesterday, July 1,2020.

Sir John is said to have died at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.after testing positive for covid-19.
