City plans Haaland acquisition
Erling Haaland

Manchester City have Erling Haaland on their radar as Sergio Aguero’s replacements.

The 32-year old Argentine has entered into the final year of his contract and would be seeking to exit the Premier League as City plans to find a replacement for their prolific marksman.

The Calciomercato reported that Inter Milan have been tailing Aguero and are willing to offer a £7million a season, two-year contract for the player which would see him at the San Siro next season.

However, Pep Guardiola sees the former RB Salzburg forward as an ideal replacement for Aguero, who is the highest-scoring overseas player in the Premier League and also holds the record for the most hat-tricks scored.

Haaland has so far scored 17 goals in 18 appearances for Dortmund in the Bundesliga and per the report of Don Balon, Juventus have also entered the race for the 20-year old, whose €70m release clause comes into action in 2022.

Man City are reportedly willing to offer €100m to get hold of the player next summer to strengthen their attack at the departure of Sergio Aguero.
