Chef Faila: I was motivated by Hajia4Reall's humanitarian works

Chef Abdul-Razak Failatu, popularly known as Chef Faila, is a Ghanaian chef who has expressed her deep respect for socialite Mona Faiz Montrage, also referred to as Hajia4Reall.

Chef Faila: I was motivated by Hajia4Reall's humanitarian works

Chef Faila said on Saturday's episode of "United Showbiz" on UTV that she has always been moved by Hajia4Real's humanitarian efforts in underprivileged Northern villages.

Life was quite hard in the Northern Region, so we were thrilled when Chef Faila became well-known across the nation, she said. I was greatly motivated by her visit to the North in the last two years, I believe, when she donated to the orphanage and inspired people.

She made it clear, though, that she was just in admiration of Hajia4Real's humanitarian efforts and not her way of life.

"Although I was selling rice at the time, I prayed that I would be like Hajia4Real," she added, referring to her money and ability to have an influence rather than her way of life.

Hajia4Real's parents, according to Chef Faila, cannot be held accountable for the transgressions of an adult who makes her own decisions.

"I am aware that their parents are currently having difficulties. After thirty years, I think everyone is free to make their own decisions and that no one can hold parents accountable for their children's misbehavior," the speaker stated.

Hajia4Reall admitted last month to obtaining fraud proceeds from romance scams and made a forfeiture and restitution payment of $2,164,758.41.

She also consented to make restitution in the same amount and pay forfeiture of $2,164,758.41.

At an unspecified later time, Hajia4Reall will be punished by U.S. District Judge Paul A. Crotty; it is unclear if she will receive the maximum five-year sentence.

Regarding the guilty plea, attorney Damian Williams stated: "Mona Faiz Montrage was arrested abroad and now faces serious consequences for her actions. She knowingly received money stolen from older Americans through romance scams."

"Vulnerable, elderly victims of romance scams like Montrage's suffered not only from the callous theft of their money but also from the cruel betrayal of trust upon discovering that their online romantic connection was a hoax.

"No matter where they are, this Office and our law enforcement partners are relentless in bringing fraudsters who target Americans to justice," he said.
