Central Region: Assin Anyinabrim: Family cries for the intervention of IGP over mysteriously missing of 23-year-old daughter as they suspect foul play on the side of a boyfriend.
Agyare Family in Assin Anyinabrim in the Assin South District of the Central Region has made a clarion call on the Ghana Police Service, National Investigation Bureau( NIB), and other security agencies to cause immediate arrests of the boyfriend of their missing daughter, Abigail Opare.
The 23-year-old lady is a mother of one.
The mother of the missing lady, Mad. Comfort Opare, speaking with Rich Fm and Peace Fm reporter Oscar Adawu Dadzie, said, the boyfriend, Kobii, cunningly took Abigail from Assin Anyinabrim to Gomoa Kokofu and since November 2020 Abigail hasn't returned.
Meanwhile, all attempts to know her whereabouts have not been successful for the past one and half years.
She said the family resisted their relationship since the boyfriend was a very jealous one and usually subjected, Abigail to cruelty. Sometimes beats her with a hammer.
Stating the reason why they suspect the boyfriend has a hand in the mysterious missing of their daughter is the current girlfriend of "Kobii" was using Abigail's Phone with the same telephone number and logged in to Abigails Facebook account to upload her pictures.
The father and sister of Abigail said her absence has rendered the family sleepless and sorrowful all night.
Meanwhile, the six-year-old daughter Abigail left behind, narrated her ordeal and what goes on in her mind when she goes to school.
