Near the Equatorial Guinea border, where the fatal haemorrhagic fever is currently on the rise, health officials in Cameroon report finding two probable cases of the Marburg virus.

Both members of the pair had never crossed the border.

Officials are currently attempting to locate everyone they have spoken to.

In an effort to stop the virus's spread, the World Health Organization has dispatched extra contact tracing specialists to eastern Equatorial Guinea.
