Former TV3 journalist Bridget Otoo has finally been accepted among the staff of Metro TV.

A misunderstanding about Bridget Otoo broke on Wednesday, August 5, 2021, when she was seemingly sacked barely 24 hours after her unveiling as a new addition to the staff at the station.

Report has made known that everything has been resolved and the news anchor is back to her job.

Manasseh Azure Awuni, a renowned investigative journalist, disclosed that a certain powerful businessman stormed the studios with a motorcade to prevent the journalist from going on air.

According to the former multimedia journalist, it took the protests from some workers and the Managing Director of the station to ensure that Bridget Otoo wasn’t kicked out.

“Following the bad press Metro TV has received, the man who stormed the station with motorcade reportedly called Bridget Otoo and pleaded with her to return and that the misunderstanding was being resolved,” Manasseh wrote.

Rumor had it that a power battle ensued behind closed doors from 'some big men' in the ruling government to prevent Bridget Otoo from being enrolled as part of the Metro Television staff due to her alleged affiliation with the National Democratic Congress.

Bridget Otoo shared photos on social media showing her seated at her ready to anchor the evening news.
