Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai recorded 209 HIV AIDS cases in 2021

Mr. Ernest Tetteh, Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai municipal data Manager has hinted that for the year  2021 under review, they recorded 209 HIV AIDS cases, 73 male and 136 female, hence, the need for everyone to check and know their status in the municipality.

Mr. Ernest Tetteh, Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai municipal data Manager has hinted that for the year  2021 under review, they recorded 209 HIV AIDS cases, 73 male and 136 female, hence, the need for everyone to check and know their status in the municipality. 


Speaking to media practitioners at the Bibiani municipal hospital Mr. Ernest Tetteh further explained that 39 out of the women figures were pregnant women and 3 out of the total figure were children. 


Mr. Ernest Tetteh further advised the populace to take it upon themselves to check and know their status for their own good, adding that the virus is not as fearful as we saw it some time ago, because there are medicines now to manage it and you can go about your normal routine as if there is nothing happening to you. 


He said the major cause of the virus is heterosexual contact, therefor he pleaded with all and sundry to protect themselves before having sex if they cannot abstain.

The Chief Executive of the Progressive Modern Construction (PMC) Africa Limited Radio West Africa 92.5 MHz Alhaji Abdallah Ahmed Abdallah is popularly known as Alhaji PMC has promised to support Wenchi Municipal Assembly with one thousand seedlings of coconut.


Alhaji Abdallah Ahmed Abdallah said he aimed for the move to support His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Green Ghana Project.


The CEO disclosed this during a working visit to Wenchi Municipality by the Bono Regional Minister Hon. Justina Owusu Bannahene.


He finally called on his fellow contractors in the country to do their possible best to support the development of their communities.
