Be thoughtful going public with prophecies about celebrities, says Prophet Evans Koomson

Because social media has recently been a popular medium, critics have expressed worry that these prophesies don't necessarily seem to be unfavorable but were nonetheless made in public.

Prophet Evans Koomson, a senior pastor at Christian Life Fellowship, is advising prophets to use caution and adopt a more sympathetic and considerate approach when foretelling the future of famous personalities rather than utilizing their platforms to stir up controversy.

Prophet Evans Koomson acknowledged that prophecy had a legitimate role in all spheres of society, including the entertainment business, but he urged his fellow men of God to consider the methods they use to convey such messages from God.

He suggested that using private rather than public platforms was the way to go if the motivation for sharing the said prophecy was not fame or the desire to showcase that a prophecy had come to pass. He made this argument in his contribution as a speaker on the Graphic Showbiz Twitter(X) Dialogue series on the topic "Does prophecy have a place in showbiz?" held today.

Prophet Koomson emphasized that sharing predictions in private does not lessen their importance or influence.

Instead, it protected the revelation's integrity within the boundaries of the Holy Spirit, making sure that it achieves its original purpose without of sensationalism or needless interruption.

"We occasionally need to take the recipients of these prophetic utterances into account. When prophesies are revealed publicly, the recipients may suffer severe consequences, particularly if they lack the ability and maturity to accept the message.

"When we use these open forums, we also leave them vulnerable to some ghosts who could gather information and use the details of prophesies to attack the recipient.

"People ought to be addressed in privacy. We should get in touch with the person privately or with their management if it's not for fame or if we don't want it to be known that we said it and it happened, he said.

They all discussed prophesies and their roles in show business from various angles.
