Ghanaian artiste, Barima Sidney has been legally attacked over his new track titled "Papa No".

The singer, who is no stranger to been involved in issues like this, expressed his surprise this time because he claimed that he was careful not to mention any names in the song. He explained that the song was not directed at anyone and he cannot be held responsible for what Ghanaians choose to do with the song.

The "Ghana Money" hitmaker explained that he has not released any video of the song. He stated this as his defense because some sections of his fans had started tagging pictures of famous politicians, including Ex-President John Mahama, to the song in a bid to label them as the 'Papa No'.

The "Ghana Money" hitmaker has now warned the public to stop tagging famous Ghanaian politicians to his songs as it could land him in bigger troubles more than the one he is currently facing.

He made this declaration while speaking in an interview with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment’.

“When I released this song, people were reading meanings into it. I never mentioned anybody’s name in the song. We are all looking for the ‘Papa No’ and we all don’t have any clue of him. All over social media, people were attaching some images to my song."

"Pictures of some high profile personalities like that of the former president Mahama who has nothing to do with the song was used. It’s not fair that I haven’t mentioned anybody’s name and yet I’ve been dragged to court. I know nothing about this and for that matter, my management is releasing a press statement to that effect,” he stressed.
