YAW OPOKU The Assembly Member for Afrancho electoral area, Honourable. Adu Gyamfi together with residents of Afrancho is calling for the deployment of soldiers and additional police officers to provide security protection in the town.
It is recalled on the wee hours of Friday, some youths believed to be inhabitants of Hemang clashed with Afrancho youths living with multiple injuries on properties.
Speaking on the occurrence According to the Assembly Member stressed that, the security situation in afrancho continues to remain volatile which needs to be beefed up swiftly.
The report gathered indicates that 10 suspects involved in the clash have been picked up by the police for further interrogation.
Residents say, the rate at which the youth take the law into their hands nowadays is a disturbing situation.

Speaking with a taxi driver whose car was vandalized he said, his source of income was the taxi which was destroyed by the thugs hence life will be difficult henceforth.
