Ashaiman NPP aspiring PC files nomination

The two times aspiring New Patriotic Party(NPP) parliamentary candidate for Ashaiman Constitituency, Alhaji Labaran Yakubu Barry has submitted his nomination form ahead of the party's Electoral College.

The New Patriotic Party is yet set date for its parliamentary primaries. Christened, "The people's choice, favourite and option for Ashaiman", Alhaji Labaran Yakubu Barry submitted his nomination form at the party office in Ashaiman beaming with confident to annex the seat for the NPP.

Hon. Alhaji Yakubu Labaran Barry, being the third time after the unsuccessful attempts in 2016 and 2000 said he is leaving no stone unturned to re-write the history of his party in Ashaiman constituency.

Accompanied by some party supporters and his campaign team members, to the Constituency party office. Receiving the nomination forms by the election committee, he was given a goodwill messages.

Speaking to the media after the submission and filing, of nomination forms, the NPP parliamentary hopeful Hon Alhaji Yakubu Labaran Barry noted that his strong conviction to reclaim the lost seat for the NPP has been the motivation.

He was positive that the Ashaiman seat which the NDC has captured for over twenty (20)years will be recaptured in 2024 parliamentary elections.

Regardless of his two failed attempts, he is confident to capture the seat for the New Patriotic Party this time round. He said the 2024 contest, will be used to proof a point and make a strong case for the elephant party by adding more votes to the party's pool or basket to execute the breaking of the eight (8) agenda,in election 2024.

He pleaded with the delegates to give him the third opportunity to become the next Parliamentary Candidate (PC) to lead the party to elections 2024.

"I know for sure, that I will definitely win the parliamentary seat for NPP and become the next member of Parliament (MP)for Ashaiman Constituency in 2025",he added.
