The president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bessa Simons, has openly doubled down on musicians who engage in physical fights.

The boss reacted to the reports that Stonebwoy had sent his personal thugs to harass Kelvynboy as he totally condemned the act by stating that anything apart from lyrical battles will be met with hefty sanctions.

He warned both the musicians and their supporters, arguing that if the hardcore fans of a particular artist realize that their negative actions towards their fellow's rivals will cause setbacks, they'd not engage in such acts.

He also mentioned the fracas between Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz, where they almost exchanged blows at the premises of Media General had it not been for the intervention of onlookers. The MUSIGA boss lamented on the increasing levels of indiscipline that musicians are displaying while speaking in an exclusive interview.

“I don’t think musicians should go out and fight or do anything that will tarnish their image and the image of the country. A lot of people see them as role models so they need to discipline themselves when they are out there. They shouldn’t set bad examples."

He has now sternly warned musicians to desist from such acts as penalties will now be incurred by anyone under the organization that engages in them.

“Any member of MUSIGA who misbehaves will be referred to the disciplinary and arbitration committee and they will be dealt with according to our constitution. Afterward, they will be referred to our National Executive council who will then decide on which type of sanction,” he declared.
