Speaking in an interview, Yaw Sarpong stated the problems that this has created for him saying, "As I speak to you, there are about four people who have made advance payments to me for their events so what am I supposed to do?”

“I have a very big funeral to perform at on May 9 so I am praying that things would have normalized by then so we can go ahead and perform.”

“For those whose money I have taken in advance and the events did not come off, I don’t really know what I am going to do now.

“It is a very difficult situation for me. I just hope everything comes back to normal so we can go about our businesses,” he added.
