Borussia Dortmund have terminated André Schürrle’s contract  

The former Chelsea player scored eight goals in 51 Dortmund appearances across two seasons, before spending 2018/19 and 2019/20 on loan with Fulham and Spartak Moscow respectively.

The German club confirmed on Wednesday, July 2020 that, “Borussia Dortmund and professional footballer André Schürrle, who has recently been on loan at Russian top-flight outfit Spartak Moscow, have agreed to mutually terminate the player's contract, which was originally set to run until 2021.

 

 

"That means that the 2014 World Cup winner will not be present when BVB return to training on 30 July.

André Schürrle acknowledged his stay at the Signal Iduna, wished the club, and fans the best in the days ahead.
