A 48-year-old parliamentary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Lower West Akim Constituency in the Eastern Region Mr Owen Kwame Frimpong who is affectionately called Darling Boy, has stated that he is ever ready to lead and represent the supreme interest of the constituents when given the nod to win the upcoming NDC parliamentary race and subsequently wrestle the parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of Member of Parliament (MP) in the 2024 general elections.
According to the young successful business mogul, his decision to join the race was a call from the Almighty God to rescue the people of Lower West Akim constituency from their current bad economic challenges.
"The Almighty God has sent me to represent the people of Lower West Akim Constituency in Parliamentary because He knows that l have what it takes to bring the needed social and infrastructure intervention development
to the door step of constituents," Darling Boy, Kwame Frimpong declared when he was speaking in an interview on Property TV on Wednesday January 25, 2023.
According to him, he would not disappoint his God when he is elected to become the next Member of Parliament for the constitueny.
He reassured that he is ready to serve the people by way of looby government to bring development to the area to improve the living conditions of the constituents.
Mr Frimpong pointed out that the leadership and owners of the party in the constitueny had seen the various good works he has done to rebuild the structures and foundations of the party in the grassroot levels and they realized that he is only person who could lead the party to wrestle the parliamentary seat from the NDC in the 2024 polls.
Mr Frimpong told the host of the Property TV that when he wins the parliamentary election of the NDC and he becomes the MP of the Lower West Akim constituency, he would not engage in the practices that seen some successful legislators to ignore the plights of their constituents after they had been voted to succeed their parliamentary seat.
