Pressure group, the  Alliance For Truth, Justice and Accountability Ghana (ATJAG) has taken keen notice of Pro LGBTQ+ billboards mounted on some principal streets in Accra.
The group noted that on the billboard, where four hands joined together and each hand had a b and or a bracelet designed with the colors of the LGBTQ+ group.
According to the group, right on the billboard was a clear inscription, “When all Ghanaians are treated equally no matter who they are, no matter who they love, that is true freedom”.
Against this backdrop, the Alliance for Truth, Justice, and Accountability Ghana expressed shock and disappointment in the various Municipal Assemblies which gave a permit to the said group to mount that billboard that violates the 1992 constitution.
The group stressed the need for parliament to Fast track the process of implementing the anti LBGTQI+ bill to become law.
"Again the Inspector General of Police (IGP) as a matter of urgent should direct the pulling down of the said billboards and also prosecute the owners of the billboards," the group noted in a press statement.
The press statement which was signed by the Convenor of the group, Bismark Kofi Boateng, and copied to Soireenews.com called on various faith-based organizations, civil society groups, and all Anti LGBTQI+ groups to help in the fight against such devilish and immoral lifestyle since it undermines our culture and values.
