Alhaji Shani Alhassan Shaibu urges young people to venture into entrepreneurship

The Northern Regional Minister, Honourable Shani Alhassan Shaibu at the graduation ceremony of the MasterCard Foundation, Young Africa Work Project urged young people to venture into entrepreneurship.

The project forms part of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), MasterCard Foundation initiative, targeted at creating 39000 sustainable jobs among young people in Ghana.

Honorable Shaibu presented start-up kits to 15 young men and women in the region to support them start their businesses.

The start-up kits include; Gas Oven and accessories, a sewing machine and accessories, a Hairdryer and accessories, electrical tools and leather works machine.

He advised them to use the start-up kits more productively to earn more so that they can take good care of themselves and their families.

He admonished young men and women in the region to venture into entrepreneurship rather than chasing white-collar jobs.
