Ahead of SONA, Minority calls on Government to Apologize to Ghanaians-Minority

"They have failed Ghanaians considering the myriads of promises they have made and their performances put up, called for nothing but an apology", she intimated.

Amidst the current hardship experienced by Ghanaians, the minority in Parliament has called on the Akuffo Addo-led government to do what they termed "the honorable thing" by rending an unqualified apology to Ghanaians for having unleashed untold hardship on them.

This, according to the Minority, will restore the government's lost glory, therefore, enjoy some respect from the citizenry.

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com at the sidelines of parliamentary proceedings, Honourable Mrs... Cudjoe Comfort Doyle, Member of Parliament for Ada, noted with no regret that the president would have nothing to say but rather urged the president to apologize to calm tempers down.

"They have failed Ghanaians considering the myriads of promises they have made and their performances put up, called for nothing but an apology", she intimated.

On his part, the Member of Parliament for Bia East, Honourable Acheampong Richart said government's blaming of its mismanagement of the economy is an obvious indication that they do not have what it takes to manage the same.

He urged the government to seize the opportunity coming Wednesday when the president is expected to present the State of the Nation Address (SONA).
