The Pupils of Wam Adiebra Primary and Junior High School numbering about 450 in the Asunafo North Municipal of Ahafo Region says the lack of a single computer in the school is affecting the teaching and learning of ICT in the school.

According to the pupil, most of them have not seen a computer before than to talk of having any practical knowledge of the tech though it is compulsory for them to learn and also write ICT during BECE with pupils who have computer knowledge.

The pupils made these known when the 1989 Old Year Group of Wam Adiebra Basic School donated some 1800 branded exercise books, 1,000 Pens, 1,000 Pencils, Mathematical sets, Sharpeners among others to enhance teaching and learning.

They have therefore appealed to the government and other co-operate bodies to come to their aid with computers.

The Headteacher of Wam Adiebra Basic School, Mr Opoku Baah Frederick said pupils of the school have lost interest in learning ICT subjects.

The President of the 1989 Year Old Students Group of Wam Adiebra Basic School, Mr Charles Gambo said providing a High-quality standard of education in rural Ghana is a shared responsibility, not government alone therefore all should come on board to resolve the IT challenges the school is facing.
