FOLLOWING the recent violence in the Agona West Consistency at the EC registration center the Parliamentary Candidate for National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Agona West, Mrs Ernestina Ofori Dangbey has cautioned the supporters and members of the to be endeavoured to protect themselves if the police in Agona West District Police Command have failed to protect their safety.
According to her, the police has not made any arrest since the bloody violence occurred in the area for the past five days now which has clearly indicated that the incapabilities of the Agona Swedru Police to protect their safety.
She pointed out that it is not an open secret in the area when the many supporters and members of the NPP in Agona West kept on always boasting that their government is in power so they have the state security personnel to support them to misbehave.
In this regard, she stressed the need for all NDC members and supporters in Agona West Consistency to be vigilant and ensure they protect themselves and also match the NPP boot by boot.
According to her, they cannot sit down for NPP members to continue to beat up their members and supporters "so we would everything possible to resist the personal attacks from the NPP.
