Advocates for Community Alternatives Woos Technical Support For Mining Communities-In Fanteakwa South District 

Advocates for Community Alternatives (ACA), the US-based non-governmental organization (NGO) has called for assistance on legal and technical support for the people in the various mining communities in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region.

The Community Development Director of Advocates for Community Alternatives (ACA), Nana Ama Nketia Quadoo, called on non-profit organisations and philanthropists to make concerted efforts at accessing the needs of the people in a robots way by helping the communities to get impact.
She made the call at a stakeholders Town Hall Meeting organised by the Fanteakwa South District Assembly in the Eastern Region.
Explaining further, Nana Ama Nketia Quadoo stated that the main focus of the Advocates for Community Alternatives organisation aimed at representing the voice of the deprived, vulnerable, regardless of gender and also direct its efforts towards creating a system that enables every person realize its potentials.
Nana Ama Nketia Quadoo stressed that her organization strives to improve the well-being of vulnerable people by empowering the community to undertake and manage holistic nining issues.
She said her outfit would work intensively by providing free legal aid on injustice issues and renders services like awareness campaigns and strengthening of community groups in partnership with charitable and government agencies.
