The Assembly Member for Nwawasua Electoral Area, Bismark Tsikata has noted with regret that there are many communities in his area without access to the National grid.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in his acceptance speech after swearing-in for his second term said he would make sure the remaining 15% of Ghana’s population not on the national grid would get access to electricity.

Mr Tsikata stated that previous governments made several promises over the years but failed to honour them. He hoped that the Akufo Addo government would fulfil its promise during its second term in office.
