Actress, Kiitan Bukola Shares Experience With Paedophile

Award-winning Nollywood actress, Kiitan Bukola, has revealed that she was disvirgined at the tender age of ten.

The popular actress said this on her Instagram handle on Tuesday. She explained that the essence of being a filmmaker is to be a voice in society.

In a post shared on Instagram, the actress revealed that her latest movie titled “Right Time”, is the story of her life and the challenges she went through being a rape victim.

According to the actress, her experiences in the hands of a paedophile is an unforgettable part of her life that keeps popping up at every stage.

She further urged parents to give their children the comfort of experience to say anything without fear.

She wrote: ''The essence of being a filmmaker primarily is to be a voice in the society. This is what I have been able to do with my latest movie RIGHT TIME.

''My experiences in the hands of a paedophile is an unforgettable one, whose memories keep popping up at every stage of my life. Losing my virginity at a very tender age of 10 is not something every girl child should go through.

''Our society should create an enabling environment for victims of molestation to speak up without being blacklisted or stigmatized.

''Mine is just a case out of many. We can’t afford to raise our girls in this manner. Our girls need to be protected.

''Parents should give their children the comfort of expressions. Make your child your friend. Let your child be able to approach you on any burdening issues without fear.

''Together, we can change the picture of things.
