A clash between students of Enyan Denkyira Senior High School in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region has resulted in 10 injured students whiles seven are in critical condition over a girl.

According to information gathered, a day student on Sunday afternoon came to the school to pick up her girlfriend at the boarding house. As they intended to leave, the male borders decided to halt their exit but did not prevail. At the return of the two in the evening back to school, the boarders shattered him, ceased his mobile phone and some of his belongings and threatened to have sex with the lady in front of him.

After pleading all his plead for his belongings fell on death ears, the brutalized day student went home and gathered over 15 gangs from the town for revenge.

The gangs stormed the school with sharpened cutlasses, sticks and other weapons allegedly to go and wound them.

They invaded the campus and a clash ensued between them and the boarding students injuring over 15 students.

Speaking to Emmanuel Mensah a day student and victim who joined the gang to caused the mayhem, he told Soireenews that he was called by friends to resolve a dispute at the campus only to meet gangs with weapons fighting.

In addition, Kweku Arthur an eyewitness also explained that he heard the boarding student threaten the day student but didn't pay attention to it.

He narrated that he saw the gangs enter the school with cutlasses, sticks, rakes and many more only for him to hear that a fight has broken between students and community gangs injuring 17 of which 10 are town boys and 7students.

The victims are currently receiving treatment at Ajumako Government Hospital. As of today 12 of them have been discharged and 5 are still on admission.
