According to Segun Arinze, film is an instrument for changing government
The actor says he thinks that movies can bring Africa together. He was in Ghana for the African Movie Academy Awards press reception, which took place on Sunday at the IBIS Style Hotel.

He continued, "Film always brings people together, sparks passion, and becomes the voice for the underdogs. They use it as a springboard to claim that they can identify with what they saw in the movie.
During an interview with Joy Entertainment, he asserted that "film is a veritable thing for a change in governance."
When asked if that change has been noticeable in Africa, he responded that transformation is a gradual process and is not anticipated to occur right away.
Therefore, he advised filmmakers to continue knocking on government doors, saying that someone would finally be willing to listen.
It is a gradual process, but occasionally the leaders also act stupid and deaf and pretend that they are blind even if they are not.
