Accomplice in the murder of 90-year-old woman arrested
The police earlier put up a bounty of GHS2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators.

The Police have grabbed a lady involved in the execution of the alleged old ‘witch’, the late Akua Denteh in the early morning of Friday, July 31, 2020.
She was informed to be hiding with few others until her arrest.
Police earlier arrested five suspects in connection to the lynching of the 90-year-old woman, who was accused of being a witch at Kafaba in the Savannah Region.

The suspects – arrested by the Homicide expert team dispatched from Accra - were handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Savannah Regional Police Command at Damongo and are expected to be arraigned within the week.
The arrested lady, with her name undisclosed according to the report, is believed to be the one horsewhipping the old woman the late old woman in the viral video.
