34 persons have been confirmed dead in an accident which occurred on Tuesday, on the Cape Coast-Takoradi Highway.

The tragedy occurred at dawn at Dompoase in the Komenda-Edina Eguafo-Abirem Municipality and according to Graphic Online, the perished souls were 20 males, 11 females and three children.

A Man Diesel bus with the registration number GR 57040-18 was travelling from Takoradi towards Cape Coast and a Hyundai Bus with registration number GN 3780-10 from Cape Coast towards Takoradi crashed ahead on at a junction.
