Ghanaian highlife veteran, Rex Omar, has elaborately claimed that the National Democratic Party (NDC) will come good on all its promises to the Ghanaian entertainment industry because they are realistic.

The newly appointed spokesperson for the NDC in the creative arts sector enthusiastically endorsed the Manifesto laid down by the NDC dubbed 'The People's Manifesto'.

He said that it is the best he has seen since the first republic in an interview with Kwame Afrifa Mensah on the Epa Hoa Daben show.

In the manifesto, the NDC claimed that it would resource creative arts bodies like the Ghana Association of Writers, Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), National Film Authority (NFA), Ghana Union of Visual Arts(GUVA), among others.

“We’ll resource nationally recognized creative arts bodies like the Ghana Association of Writers, MUSIGHA, National Film Authority, Ghana Union of Visual Arts (GUVA), among others,” stated the NDC.

Rex Omar has explained that the NDC will fulfill its word because it is something practical that can be done. He stated that the manifesto is relatable and realistic unlike the bogus promises founded by other political parties.

"Ghana is a developing country and the creative arts is employing women and the youths. In Ghana when we talk about creative arts, we zero into music"

"It is far broader than that. Fashion is inclusive, bead making, the weaving of cloth, and the use of animal skin to make footwear."

"So we informed them that if they can create the enabling environment for this sector to develop, it will create a lot of jobs”. He explained.
