Ghanaian entertainer, Edem has advised his colleagues to not try and impress their fans to their own injury by making panic donations because they see other colleagues who are capable doing it.

Ghanaian celebrities have been supporting government initiatives to help curb the spread of the coronavirus by donating relief items in a bid to help Ghanaian citizens abide by the measures put in place by the government.

This has led to the insatiable fans calling for more and more donations, as the people that need the donations cannot be separated from the ones that just want to be greedy;

Edem has therefore urged his colleagues in the music industry  to do what they are capable and not overreach to impress people.

Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye of Radio Central in Cape Coast, Edem stressed that it’s easy for celebrities to resort to public donations due to the standards they have set for themselves but that doesn’t mean they should go out of their budget just to satisfy their fans or please the society and suffer in silence.

Meanwhile, the artiste encouraged Ghanaians to treat the coronavirus disease with all seriousness because it is currently conquering all the well-developed countries across the globe.
