Alexey Yaroshevsky, reporter for RT International and RT America has backlashed referee Martin Atkinson’s decisions in officiating the Manchester United and Liverpool game at Old Trafford.

Coupled with colleague reporter, Paul Tomkins, an in depth football writer explained the referee’s decisions as “a disgrace” tantamount to a home bias.

Liverpool’s 100 percent record in the Premier League was ruined by rival team, Manchester United after the two settled for a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Referee Martin Atkinson’s first half officiating was appalling after favoring the home side with the 50/50 decisions and ‘robbing’ the Reds of a clear Origi foul in the build up to Manchester United’s first goal.

Victor Lindelof cleared kick the Liverpool attacker which seemed very harsh with the players pausing on play yet the absence of the referee’s blast called Daniel James to loom through an out of focus Liverpool defense for a cross before Rashford tapped in the opener.

Lindelof as the game progressed fouled on Sadio Mane before the Senegalese goal was disallowed which has erupted anger in fans against the decisions of the referee in an attempt to thwart Liverpool’s plans of winning a premier league for years now.

“VAR got one right, one wrong. Atkinson got BOTH wrong. A quick reminder as to why no English ref was present at last year’s World Cup” Alexey Yaroshevsky tweeted.

“Atkinson had ignored fouls on Origi and Mané before Origi was fouled. He's a fucking disgrace. VAR then ignores what Gary Neville calls a clear foul. Liverpool have to overcome clear bias against black foreign players by refs” Paul Tomkins tweeted.

Liverpool will play Spurs at Anfield on in their next PL fixture. The draw means they are still unbeaten and rest on top of the table with 25 points against Manchester City’s 19.
