Ghanaian gospel musician, Daakyehene has said that he will pick Joe Mettle over Shatta Wale any day because of the huge difference in the way people see the two artistes.

According to him, he can only feature Joe Mettle on his album out of the two artistes because Shatta Wale is not an artiste that people have a good mind towards. He explained that everyone likes Joe Mettle because of his reputation, but Shatta Wale has many haters because of his controversial nature.

The broadcast journalist with Power FM stated that Joe Mettle also appeals with his own vision and mission more than any other secular artiste, including Shatta Wale.

“It’s not that I am condemning Shatta Wale but I don’t ever plan featuring him because of people’s perception about certain lifestyle Gospel Artist must exhibit,” she said during an interview with Ibrahim Ben-Bako (IB) host of Joy Prime’s the Red Carpet Show.

“If you are awake then it is because you are part of God’s Divine Selection which is not by your own strength, making or wisdom,” he said.

“Many people are dead worldwide because of Coronavirus and if by God’s Grace we are counted among the living then it sums up that God’s Divine Selection has located us”.

“I believe I will be third time lucky to make maximum impact in the Gospel Music industry since I have learned my lessons and allowed experienced people in the music industry in the country to listen to the track and criticized it and have made the necessary correction before release” he concluded
